Chressa Law is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology. The site is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as its benchmark, and accessibility is considered as the site continues to develop.
What we have done
The site uses semantic HTML structure, descriptive text alternatives for images, visible keyboard focus indicators, a skip-to-content link, labelled form fields, and support for reduced-motion preferences. Interactive elements, including menus and expandable questions, can be operated by keyboard.
JavaScript
This website uses JavaScript for features such as the navigation menus, expandable questions, the interactive legal tools, and the chat widget. Core content remains readable without JavaScript, but these interactive features require it. If you cannot use them, the same information and contact routes are available by email and telephone.
Text size and browser settings
Text on this website can be enlarged or reduced in your browser. On most computers, hold the Ctrl key (Cmd on a Mac) and press the plus or minus key to zoom. Your browser settings can also adjust colour contrast and other display preferences. Known limitations
Some decorative text elements use colour combinations that may fall below recommended contrast levels, and the interactive tools present complex content that we continue to refine for assistive technology. Work on these areas is ongoing.
